Customer Empathy, Brand Experience Design

This course is intended to enhance students’ abilities to understand and respond to the underlying causes of human behavior through the lens of the changing ways in which people engage with and choose brands. It will examine the disruption of the consumer products world by emerging direct-to-consumer brands, and how that is changing the role of brand from signifier of product-based benefits to leader of customer-empathic experiences.
