Summer 2020
This summer 2020, I was selected to participate in HP's Summer Scholars program; a pilot program to pitch HP's vision of the future to college students and recent graduates. After completing this program, my eyes are now wide open to the limitless possibilities of how new technologies will be able to improve our lives.
During this program, I learned about HP's leading role in additive manufacturing, human-centered design, gaming, and computing.
Overview of the program:
• Megatrends: Identified how global megatrends influence business, products, and solutions.
• Business acumen: Developed knowledge about how business decisions are made, priorities managed, and tradeoffs mitigated.
• Technology & innovation: Discussed the drivers and mindsets required to take risks and innovate in a highly competitive market.
• Organizational culture: Highlighted how businesses win with the right conditions for employees to thrive.
• Personal brand-building: Built practices and tools to develop a strong personal brand for
future opportunities.
• Masterclasses: Heard from experts across multiple disciplines to inform potential future career ideas and build capabilities.

Exploring Additive Manufacturing in the Wake of COVID-19
From my LinkedIn:
"Look around you, many of the things that you interact with on a daily basis will be able to be 3-D printed in the near future."
This is something that I tell my family and friends when I describe the impact of additive manufacturing. The possibilities are limitless, and this is the technology to watch when thinking about the 4th Industrial Revolution -- especially as supply chains are being reeled in closer to home.
While learning about additive manufacturing, I can't help but think about its impact on the spaces that we live and interact in. Maybe physical classrooms will be built to maximize students' creativity, rather than limited by conventional structural design principles.
My journey into additive manufacturing does not stop here.
